During the 1st lockdown we had to be a little more creative in gift giving, it was my husband’s big birthday and I wanted to give him something special, something that he could cherish for a long time. I contacted Sophie to ask her to paint a picture of my husband and our daughter, she helped me to choose a picture and kept me involved and updated every step of the way. My husband loved the painting, everyone who sees it comments on how true to life it is and how our daughters eyes capture their attention. I approached Sophia about an extremely unique piece of art I wanted to gift my husband for Father’s Day. It was an image of his late father holding our daughter whom he never met. It was a complex piece that required a lot of detail, clear vision, use of old and new pictures, recreating various positions to make it feel like it was a moment they truly shared together and I promise you it’s exactly how I pictured it to be.

The want and need for this piece to be authentic, special, full of love and emotion was what was really required from my side. Sophia totally got the concept from the moment we spoke, she complimented my idea understood the emotional factors around it and was so empathetic and understanding. Her level of expertise and guidance throughout the project was mind blowing. The levels of creativity from her was incredible and she knew what I wanted and was going to deliver just that surpassing all my expectations. She is amazingly talented and one of the kindest people I’ve come to know.

I couldn’t highly recommend her enough, her art is unique, enlightening, colourful, picturesque, raw, heart-warming and most of all created with so much dedication to each individual unique piece.
